Your church’s app, in your church’s name.
Most church apps put your church inside the vendor’s — your members download something called Church Center and hunt for you in it. Yours is listed under your own name, so they search for your church and your church is what installs.
A custom church app usually costs more than the software.
Most vendors treat “your own app” as the premium tier, quote it separately, and then hand you a publishing process nobody explains.
The branded tier
Priced as an upgrade, because it’s the thing every church eventually wants.
Store accounts nobody explains
Apple developer enrolment, signing certificates, review rejections. It stops churches cold.
A shell around a website
Plenty of “church apps” are a browser window with an icon. People can tell within a day.
Your Own Mobile App, in detail.
Two ways to ship, one set of features
Churchory Mobile is on both stores right now — your church can be live in it this week. When you want your own listing, the same app publishes under your church’s name from your own developer accounts. Identity changes; the feature set never does. We don’t hold anything back for the branded tier, because there is no branded tier.
- Live on Churchory Mobile immediately, at no extra cost
- Your own listing on the App Store and Google Play, under your church’s name, when you want it
- Identical features in both — nothing is gated behind branding
- A guest mode in branded builds, so visitors can look before they belong
A publishing wizard, and us on the call
Getting an app into two stores means developer accounts, certificates, screenshots, and a review process. There’s a wizard for the parts that can be automated, and there are two founders on the phone for the parts that can’t. You will not be handed a PDF and wished luck.
- Step-by-step publishing wizard inside the product
- We walk your team through Apple and Google enrolment
- Your church owns its own store listings and developer accounts
- Updates ship to your branded app as we ship them
You decide what the app even is
Three of the five bottom tabs carry labels you choose, and member-facing tabs can be switched off entirely. A church that doesn’t do online giving doesn’t have a Giving tab. A church that calls sermons “Messages” has a Messages tab. The app should sound like your church, not like our product.
- Rename the Sermons, Community, and Giving tabs to your language
- Hide member tabs your church doesn’t use
- Your logo, your colours, your name
- No two churches’ apps look the same — that’s the design, not a workaround
Everything in it is something you author
Announcements, sermons, and custom pages are written from the web app by your staff — no ticket to us, no developer, no redeploy. Push notifications deep-link straight to the thing they’re about, so tapping “Picnic sign-ups close tonight” opens the sign-up, not the home screen.
- Announcements, sermons, and custom mobile pages, authored by your team
- Push notifications that open the exact screen they refer to
- Mobile analytics so you can see what people actually use
- Changes appear in the app without a store update
No feature tiers, no add-ons, no upsell.
Where this connects
Every part of Churchory shares one directory, one permission system, and one price.
