Churchory Newsletters sends email newsletters to your whole church, one audience or a mailing list, now or scheduled, with unsubscribe links and suppression handled on every send. It's $99 a year (or $25 a month) on its own, or part of Churchory One, and includes the comms planner that shows every send on one calendar.
What problem does Newsletters solve?
Church newsletters often go out from a separate email tool with its own list that drifts from the church directory. Bulk email that skips unsubscribe links or keeps mailing bounced addresses ends up in spam, and the announcements, events and sermons get copied in by hand every week.
How does it work?
Choose the audience
Send to everyone, one audience (for example a ministry) or a mailing list, drawn from your church directory.
Build the newsletter
Write your announcements and pull in upcoming events from Events and recent sermons, if you run them.
Send or schedule
Send now or schedule it, and see it on the comms planner alongside your other sends.
Let compliance take care of itself
Every send includes an unsubscribe link, and suppression lists keep people who unsubscribed out of future bulk sends.
Common situations
You're leaving Mailchimp
Import your subscribers from Mailchimp, Beehiiv, Constant Contact or Flocknote, so people who signed up outside the directory come with you.
Only the women's ministry should get this
Send to that one audience instead of the whole church.
Someone unsubscribes
They're suppressed automatically from bulk sends, with no list to clean by hand.
Three ministries want to email the same week
The comms planner shows every newsletter and bulletin on one calendar, so sends don't pile up on the same day.
What should you expect during setup?
Import any outside subscribers, send yourself a test, and schedule your first newsletter. Most churches send their first one in the first week.
Who uses it?
Which products work well with Newsletters?
Newsletters runs on Core, which is free forever. Products you add share the same directory, so you never enter your people twice, or get all of them with Churchory One.
Questions about Newsletters
Can we import subscribers from Mailchimp?
Yes, from Mailchimp, Beehiiv, Constant Contact or Flocknote.
Are unsubscribes handled?
Yes. Every send includes an unsubscribe link, and suppression is handled for you.
Can we schedule newsletters?
Yes, send now or schedule for later.
Can events appear in the newsletter automatically?
With Events, you can pull upcoming events into a newsletter alongside your announcements.
Does each product work on its own?
Yes. Every product runs on Core by itself except Retreat Builder, which needs Events because every retreat is an event. Products light up extra features when you own them together: Groups plus Chat gives each group its own channel, Sunday plus Care puts first-time guests on the follow-up list, and Events plus Newsletters pulls upcoming events into a newsletter.
Can we email and notify the whole church for free?
Yes. Church-wide email and push announcements are part of Core, so every church can reach, for free, the whole church or one group. Each person chooses, per category, whether they hear about things by push or email.
Can Newsletters replace Mailchimp?
For most churches, yes: Newsletters sends to your whole directory, one audience or a mailing list, now or scheduled, with unsubscribe links and suppression handled on every send. You can import existing subscribers from Mailchimp, Beehiiv, Constant Contact or Flocknote.
Can members opt out of being contacted?
Yes. Every person has their own notification preferences, per category and per channel, and every bulk email carries an unsubscribe link that is honored automatically. Your church sends once; each person hears about it the way they've chosen.
